UMICH Votes Coalition

UMICH Votes is a non-partisan campus coalition whose mission is to improve the accessibility of voting, foster the confidence necessary to navigate the voting process successfully, and help students understand why their votes matter, for students of all three University of Michigan campuses.

  • Ann Arbor City Clerk

    The City Clerk's Office is responsible the administration of all city elections, as well as for keeping a public record of all proceedings of City Council. The Office is committed to maintaining the integrity of city government, ensuring an informed citizenry, protecting and preserving City documents and records, and ensuring fair and democratic elections.

  • Creative Campus Voting Project

    Based in the U-M Stamps School of Art & Design, the Creative Campus Voting Project (CCVP) designs and develops nonpartisan civic experiences that welcome new voters with clear messaging and a vibrant spirit. CCVP leads the design and coordination of two large-scale voter engagement exhibitions on the UM-Ann Arbor campus that include satellite offices of the Ann Arbor City Clerk.

  • Duderstadt Center

    The Digital Media Commons, within the Duderstadt Center, provides the U-M community with access to evolving technologies supported by experienced and passionate staff. We enable new ways to research, teach, learn, create, and explore in a student-centric environment that is interdisciplinary, inclusive, collaborative, and that promotes climate and social justice.

  • Ginsberg Center

    The Ginsberg Center is a community and civic engagement center with a mission to cultivate and steward equitable partnerships between communities and the University of Michigan in order to advance social change for the public good.

  • Office of Government Relations

    The Office of Government Relations directs the University’s interactions at the local, state and federal levels. This includes developing and maintaining effective relationships with governmental agencies and officials.

  • Turn up Turnout

    Turn Up Turnout is a student organization with a presence on all three U-M campuses that focuses on nonpartisan civic engagement for all interested students, as well as voter registration, education, and turnout for those who are eligible. Contact us at [email protected].

  • UMMA

    Through exhibitions, programs, research, and community partnerships, UMMA creates experiences that build foundations for vibrant civic life, using museum spaces and artistic interventions to build a more just future, and redefine what a campus art museum can be.
